Google Hummingbird Best Practices

Google Hummingbird has been here for a while and it has been a point of misunderstanding and misinterpretation amongst the SEO community. I for one am looking forward to the opportunity to work on a new site or project where I can employ as many of the optimisation techniques covered below.

On page content is still as prevalent as ever and if anything it is more important. Splitting your content down across the site into different categories (you’ll see below what I mean) may well help to benefit from some longer tail and voice searches. If you have any ideas or thoughts on Google Hummingbird and how you intend to work with it give me a shout in the comments below.
